International City Mortgage (ICM) today announced that it has opened a new retail loan origination branch in Costa Mesa, CA to serve the residential home loan needs of homebuyers and homeowners in Costa Mesa and surrounding communities.

The Costa Mesa branch will be managed by Chris Swartz, an Orange County native who has been accumulating knowledge and experience in the industry since 1999. “Over the years I have worked in almost every area of the real estate industry,” said Swartz. “I’ve done commercial lending, worked as a lending branch manager for Wells Fargo, listed and sold residential and commercial property, and owned Excel Capital, Inc., where we brokered residential loans.”

His move to International City Mortgage was prompted by the company’s longevity and commitment to customer service. “I have many relationships with realtors and attorneys who deserve the level of service I will be able to deliver by joining ICM, and because the company has been around since 1987 I’m confident that I am building a branch on a firm foundation,” said Swartz.

His plans for the new branch include turning it into a top production unit and fostering a good working relationship with the corporate office staff. “I believe we will shortly be one of the top producing branches at ICM,” said Swartz. “But we will also become known for our efforts as team players, our efficient processing, and our thorough loan files, ensuring we don’t add to the workload of the corporate staff.”

Among others, the new branch will also be served by Danielle Siap, lead processor with 8 years of experience as an underwriter; Gamble Yeung, a respected loan officer who has been in the mortgage industry since 1992; and Fernando Hernandez, a bilingual loan officer with 13 years of experience.
